GorgeMaid LLC is a home based business specializing in natural, healthy skin care products. Located in the Pacific Northwest where Oregon and Washington meet, the Columbia Gorge and Columbia River are the perfect inspiration for products created with the environment and Mother Nature in mind. As a small company, we work to create lotions, natural soaps, all-vegetable based skin products, and vegan skincare products we not only want to sell – but use ourselves.
Natural oil skin care products are an important part of the Gorge Maid product line. Commercial lotions start with a base of petrolatum or mineral oil. Petrolatum is another term for petroleum jelly, which was first discovered on oil rigs in 1859 and is highly flammable. Mineral oil is also used in the auto, electrical, and laxative industries. GorgeMaid uses only natural oils to create higher quality vegan skin conditioner. All our products start with olive, coconut, and palm oils.
GorgeMaid aims to provide a product that customers want to use every day to improve skin condition. We do this by using all-natural ingredients and formulating small batches of soap, crème, lotion, and body mist. Small batch mixing means variation. Colors, scents, and viscosity may vary from batch to batch, but quality always meets or exceeds the expectations of GorgeMaid and GorgeMaid customers.
In keeping with the small batch style, GorgeMaid can be found in many local shops, spas, and salons in and around the Washbough, WA area. We regularly attend local Farmer’s markets, bazaars, and craft shows to promote the natural skin care products to those who need natural vegetable oil skin care products, but have no idea they are available locally. While these shows are not available to everyone, GorgeMaid offers online ordering that is quick, easy, and secure.
